Driving into the future

Maruti Suzuki is one of the largest automobile companies in the country, with nearly 50% market share in passenger vehicles. In 2015-16 Maruti Suzuki wanted to highlight its coming of age and how it was ready to take on the world. We arrived at the ‘Game On’ theme, and in keeping with the brand’s origin and evolution, we walked a fine line between the client’s Japanese visual sensibilities and global requirements that worked seamlessly in both print and digital formats.

Accessibility led by text, led by design

The report was divided into three clear sections – the splash pages, statutory disclosures and the sustainability report.
















It was based on a simple philosophy that deployed interesting product and concept photography and minimal yet strong leading copy. We also created interesting navigational aids for readers, to ensure the way in which the report was accessed was not just led by text but also by design.

Seamless digital experience

The wireframe for the online report was created by reorienting content of the print version in a user-friendly way. We ensured every section of the report was accessible within two clicks at most. We also created functionalities to help visitors download particular sections of the report without having to download the entire document. The visual outcome of the online Annual and Sustainability reports was an immersive virtual experience.
