AICL is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to manage back-end services and server-side web application logic. The profile includes definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The ideal candidate should be able to write clean, fast PHP to a high standard in a timely and scalable way, produce detailed specifications, as well as troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases. Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in Drupal and other PHP-based frameworks is a must.

Work with technology head to establish solid, scalable and reliable websites
Contribute to system architectures at points of integration between Drupal and other applications/services
Design, code and unit test PHP code within and outside of Drupal environment
Ensure development process is followed
Ensure quality in source code and final products

2+ years of working with object-oriented PHP (PHP7)
Relevant degree/qualification – BE/BTech/MCA is preferred
Solid understanding of data schemas and integrity
Proficient knowledge of MVC, CodeIgnitor, Laravel, Wordpress
Knowdledge of Drupal 7 or 8, including Custom Modules
Working knowledge of MySQL Databases, including experience with addressing scalability and replication
Understanding of RESTful API Services
Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers: Google Cloud, AWS
A firm grasp of SEO/SEM best practices

Must be a team player and communicator
Must perform in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to self-direct if necessary
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
