AICL’s <IR> training guides organisations and their internal stakeholders in the smooth adoption of <IR> and in publishing their integrated reports.

Integrated reporting <IR> is a contemporary paradigm that is becoming the most popular vehicle of excellence in corporate reporting. Starting with integrated thinking, <IR> helps organisations identify value drivers and report on the outputs and outcomes across relevant capitals.

What is <IR> training?

The <IR> Training Programme aims to develop individuals’ skills and build capacity for organisations to implement integrated reporting based on the International Integrated Reporting Framework.

AICL is an official training partner with the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and conducts <IR>training in two interactive modules.

Designed for stakeholders who need to understand the fundamentals and benefits of integrated thinking, integrated reporting and integrated report, alongside global best practices and systems required for implementing <IR>.

Designed for stakeholders who are actively involved in the planning, preparing and implementing of <IR> in an organisation. This module supports them with sufficient knowledge and tools to drive <IR> and produce a full-fledged integrated report.

Why is it important?

Today, investors make and retain investments in organisations that create value in more ways than one. Thus, organisations globally are increasingly adopting integrated reporting as the medium to report holistic performance to stakeholders and to represent strategically important forward-looking information.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has advised the top 500 listed companies to voluntarily adopt <IR>. Consequently, over 30 companies in the country have adopted <IR> as their preferred way of reporting.

The <IR> training would enable internal stakeholders understand, integrate and report on multiple value creation parameters, and to best represent their organisation to the external world.

  • Participants will gain access to the training material developed by AICL, under the guidance of the IIRC.
  • Upon completion of a module, each participant will receive a certificate accredited by the IIRC.
